The fit-out for a family-owned saddlery draws together the owners' personal history and generations of craftsmanship. Timber and leather are paired throughout the interior, celebrating the character and authenticity of the handcrafted products on display.
The project balances retail function with storytelling, creating an immersive environment that evokes the owners' annual journeys to remote cattle stations across outback Queensland.
This project was recognised with the Master Builders Award for Rising Star - Downs & Western (2013).
